Azure Heroes: Content Hero Badger

It´s been very busy weeks, in terms of innovation and new announcements especially when we talk about Windows Virtual Desktop / FSLogix / MSIX app attach and all related products in terms of the evolution of Enterprise Mobility how I would describe it.

Today, I received a mail from Microsoft, saying that I´ve been nominated to be an #AzureHero – Content Hero.

So – what is this Content Hero thing and how can you get one of those badgers?

Microsoft describes these badgers as a proof of achievement for sharing valuable knowledge or contributing to the community in an outstanding way. In summary there are 8 different badgers where you can be awarded, have a look:

To become an Azure Hero by yourself there are actually three steps:

  1. Nominate yourself or a community hero around you. Community members that have demonstrated verifiable impact in one of several categories will be chosen to receive a badge
  2. Selected recipients receive a personalized QR code which can be scanned with your phone – follow the simple instructions to claim your digital badger
  3. After you become an Azure Hero, be sure to share your digital badger by using the sharing link in your wallet to post to your favorite social media using the hashtag #azureheroes

And finally what does this achievment mean to me?

Actually, I´m not doing this blog page and the content for myself exlcusively. All the years I´m working in the IT (oh god… it´s already 11 years), I´ve hit specific problematics, searched for them and found the answers on all kinds of different blog pages or documentations. To write all of these articles which REALLY helped me improving myself must cost tons of hours / months / years. And finally… I came to the conclusion that it´s time to give something back to YOU – the COMMUNITY! IT Enthusiasts, who love the same technology than I do! So lets take this achievement as a start into great years to come, with a lot of great content to be shared!

Besides all of these awards / achievements and so on it should be the most important thing to support each other especially nowadays!

Stay safe and healthy!

Cheers,

Patrick
